Cream corduroy upholstery velour has clear, soft wales that give the furniture texture and shadow. The fabric is 92% polyester and 8% nylon, weighs 330 g/m² and is 144 cm wide.

Cream is a light, warm cream. It is warmer and a touch lighter than pearl white, and the wales give the light colour shadow and depth. We suggest it for armchairs and footstools. It goes well with light wood, linen, brass and green plants.

The wales run along the length of the fabric, so they must lie the same way on every part of the piece. Plan the cutting so the wales follow the lines of the furniture, for example vertically on the back and front to back on the seat.

At 100,000 Martindale the fabric handles daily use at home and in offices and cafés. The surface is water-repellent, so spills bead up and can be wiped away before they soak in.

The fabric is made for trade buyers: upholsterers, furniture makers and shops that sell fabric by the metre. All colours of the corduroy velour share the same specifications, so they can be mixed across a collection.

Vacuum with a soft nozzle in the direction of the wales and blot spills with a damp cloth. Always test cleaning on a hidden spot before treating the whole surface.
