Sand Melange offers a melange colour play that softens contrasts and works well in neutral collections. The melange effect also makes the rib useful when you want to match multiple shades within the same range without the colour feeling harsh. 2/1 rib has a clear rib direction and a dense structure, giving garments more body than with a light rib.

The quality is often used for rib cuffs and necklines on sweatshirts and loungewear styles, but many also use it as the main fabric for dresses, skirts and tops where good coverage is required. 300 g/m² is suitable for year-round styles and for products designed to handle repeated wear.

For B2B items, delivery stability matters. The rib cuts cleanly, and the solid weight makes it easier to handle in production when you want consistency from roll to roll. Fabric shops often choose sand melange as a permanent stock colour because it works across seasons.

Wash at 30 degrees and preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to maintain elasticity wash after wash.
