Cyclamen sits between pink and lilac and gives a deeper colour expression than classic pink. The colour works well in ranges where you want contrast against neutral tones, or where you want a clear accent in trims and details. 2/1 rib is often used for rib cuffs, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts and lightweight jackets, but the heavy weight also makes it relevant for rib dresses, close-fitting tops and baby/childrenswear styles that need flexibility.

The construction delivers a pronounced rib structure with good coverage. This is an advantage when the rib is used as the main fabric, because it looks dense and less see-through than lighter rib qualities. At the same time, 4-way stretch provides good freedom of movement in finished garments, without the rib feeling slack.

Buyers at fabric shops often use cyclamen as a seasonal colour, while smaller producers choose it for small drop collections where the colour needs to carry a style on its own. The stable 300 g/m² quality makes it easier to standardise trims and fit across multiple styles.

Wash at 30 degrees, inside out. Avoid tumble drying.
