Ecru sits at the light, calm end of the scale and works as a solid core colour in any range. The rib structure creates clear channels and a compact surface, making this quality suitable when you want more body than standard jersey fabric. 2/1 rib is often used for cuffs, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, hoodies and lightweight jackets.
