Red 2/1 rib is often used for rib cuffs, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, hoodies and classic cotton jersey garments, where the edge needs more body than a lighter rib. The heavier weight provides a pronounced rib structure and makes the quality suitable for both childrenswear and women’s and men’s clothing when you want a distinct, shape-retaining finish.

The 2/1 structure creates a rib that handles stretch neatly without feeling slack. Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity and shape.
