Light grey melange is a core colour that works in virtually any range. The melanged grey provides a stable, neutral look and can be used both as the main material and as a trim fabric in combination with prints or stronger colours.

2/1 rib in 300 g/m² is often used for rib bands, necklines and sleeve cuffs, but also for close-fitting tops, dresses and leggings where you want a visible rib structure and more body. The quality is also relevant for beanies and baby accessories, where a rib that holds its shape makes a difference in wear.

Focus on colour and consistency: melange colours are often chosen because they are forgiving in appearance and work well with other fabrics by the metre. When you buy rib for production or retail, a stable grey tone is important so you can reorder and match items within the same colour direction.
