Sand-coloured cotton jersey is often used for basic collections in muted tones, for example T-shirts, tops, leggings and simple dresses. The shade sits in a warm natural palette that works well in a range where you want to combine colours across the assortment without the look becoming too harsh.

Natural-tone colours require consistency when you reorder. Sand is therefore a good choice when you want a stable basic that looks the same within the collection. The quality is supplied with a predictable width and is suitable for cutting in both small and larger runs.

Cotton and lycra provide an elastic jersey with good crosswise elasticity. This gives good freedom of movement in the garment and a more shape-retaining fit in wear. 220 g/m² also adds a bit more body so the garment drapes well and feels substantial.

Fabric shops often order sand as part of a basic programme because the colour works year-round. Smaller producers use it in timeless styles where reordering must be easy. Consistent colour from roll to roll is relevant when several rolls need to be included in the same delivery.

Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying. Press at low heat.
