Caramel is a warm brown shade, often used for childrenswear and core styles where the colour should create a calm look. This quality is frequently used for T-shirts, tops, leggings and bodysuits when you want to combine comfort with a close, even knit. The colour also works well for womenswear and menswear when you want a muted tone in a non-seasonal range.

The jersey weight of 220 g/m² provides a fabric with some body without becoming too heavy. The cotton fibre gives a soft hand feel, and the lycra helps it keep its shape so garments do not feel limp after use. The stretch is 4-way, providing good freedom of movement in finished styles.

Smaller clothing manufacturers and fabric shops often choose solid colour jersey as a stocked meterware because it can be used across collections and matches many prints. Consistency from roll to roll makes it easier to reorder the same colour for repeat deliveries.

Wash at 30 degrees with the fabric turned inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity from wash to wash.
