Red cotton jersey is often used for T-shirts, leggings, dresses and basic tops, where you want a fabric with good freedom of movement and a stable fit in wear. The colour works both as a strong statement colour in collections and as a contrast colour for prints and neutral shades.

The cotton-lycra combination provides good crosswise stretch and helps garments keep their shape wash after wash. The medium-heavy weight of 220 g/m² creates a dense knit with good coverage, without the fabric becoming too heavy. This makes the quality suitable for both childrens ranges and classic apparel where comfort is required.

Fabric shops and smaller producers often choose solid colour jersey as a core stock item, because it can be used across seasons and styles. Consistent yardage makes it easier to plan purchasing when you need the same red shade again in a reorder.

Wash at 30 degrees with the wrong side out. Avoid tumble drying, and let garments air dry to preserve colour and stretch performance.
