Champagne is a light, warm shade often used for basic styles such as tops, T-shirts, leggings and dresses when you want a muted look with a little more warmth than off-white. The colour also works well as a base when combined with printed fabrics or as part of a neutral colour card in the shop.

This quality is practical in production because the classic 220 g/m² jersey weight provides stability during cutting. The width of 150 – 160 cm makes it easier to utilise the lay efficiently. The cotton/lycra blend delivers an elastic fabric by the metre that holds its shape wash after wash when garments are cared for correctly.

Smaller clothing manufacturers often choose champagne for timeless ranges where the colour needs to be repeatable without major shade differences. Fabric shops bring it in as an alternative to white and beige because it complements natural tones and greyscale. Consistent colour from roll to roll is an advantage when you need multiple rolls in the same order.

Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying. Press on low heat.
