Baby blue is a light, calm shade that is often used in core collections and is easy to combine with both neutral colours and bright contrasts. Cotton jersey with lycra is often used for bodysuits, blouses, leggings and sleepers, where a soft hand feel and good stretch for movement in the garment are required.

The dense single jersey knit provides a neat surface, and the weight of 220 g/m² offers a good balance between body and flexibility. This makes the quality suitable for styles intended to work year-round, and where the fit needs to hold from wash to wash.

Fabric shops typically choose light blue shades because they are easy to sell as basics and are a safe reorder. Wash at 30 degrees and inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity and minimise unnecessary wear.
