Dark red cotton jersey is often used for tops, bodysuits, leggings and dresses when you want a deep colour with a calm look. The shade works well in basic programmes and as an alternative to black, especially when you want a warm tone.

The quality has good crosswise elasticity from the lycra content, so garments get good freedom of movement and feel comfortable in use. The stable jersey base also makes the fabric suitable for series where fit and repeat orders are important parameters. 220 g/m² provides a medium-heavy quality that is often chosen for year-round styles.

Fabric shops typically choose dark red as a core colour in the range because it sells across customer types and can be combined with many prints. Smaller clothing producers use it for uniform productions where the colour must be recognisable on repurchase and delivered consistently from roll to roll.

Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying and use a mild detergent to preserve colour depth.
