Light petrol is a calm blue-green shade, often used in core collections for baby and children’s wear as well as timeless everyday clothing. The quality is suitable for bodysuits, tops, T-shirts, and leggings where a comfortable cotton jersey fabric with stable stretch is required.

The shade works well with neutral colours and can be used as an alternative to classic blue. Solid colour cotton jersey makes it easy to combine with prints, rib, and accessories when your collection is built around a few consistent colours.

The cotton base provides a soft hand feel, while the lycra contributes to shape retention. This means garments hold up wash after wash, and the fit maintains its elasticity with repeated wear.

Fabric shops and manufacturers often choose this weight because 220 g/m² covers a wide range of applications without being too heavy. The fabric is practical in production when you want to reorder the same quality in multiple colours.

Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying, and iron on low heat if needed.
