Petrol is circular knit rib fabric made of 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 230 g/m², and 70–75 cm wide.

The petrol color is deep and consistent from roll to roll — no visible color shifts between transitions. The dark blue-green shade pairs well with both light and dark jersey fabrics and functions as a neutral finishing component in many productions. Used for rib cuffs, necklines, and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, jackets, bodystockings, and children’s clothing.

Circular knit rib in tubular form delivers an extra thick and durable edge — especially good for necks on children’s clothing where the edge must withstand many stretches and washes. Good shape retention after repeated washes without losing its original shape and sheen.

The rib is primarily ordered by clothing manufacturers and hobby sewists working with medium-heavy and heavy jersey fabrics. Petrol is a classic standard color that suits many clothing types without being dominant. Stock item — ready for dispatch the same day if ordered before 12 noon.

Wash at 30 degrees Celsius, inside out. Avoid tumble drying.
