Petrol is tubular rib knit fabric in 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 230 g/m² and 70-75 cm wide.

The petrol colour is deep and consistent from roll to roll — no visible shade changes between batches. The dark blue-green tone pairs with both light and dark jersey knit fabrics and works as a neutral finishing component in many productions. Used for rib cuffs, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, jackets, bodysuits and childrenswear.

Tubular rib knit fabric provides an extra thick and durable edge — especially suitable for childrenswear necklines where the ribbing must withstand frequent stretching and washing. Good shape retention after repeated washes without losing its original shape and sheen.
