Rib — Dark Dusty Mint

Description

Rib Dark Dusty Mint is tubular rib knit in 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 220 g/m² and approx. 70–75 cm wide in tubular construction. The deeper mint tone gives a calm, darker greenish look and is consistent from roll to roll — the colour remains stable in ongoing production across a season.

Dark Dusty Mint is used for ribbing and cuffs on sweatshirts and hoodies in a darker palette, for necklines and hem bands on dresses and blouses, for trim fabric on sportswear and joggers, and as a coordinated design detail in collections with a green colour theme. The colour works well with black, dark grey, navy and brown.

The darker version of dusty mint allows designers to use a greenish tone with darker base fabrics without the colour looking out of place. The light version can appear too bright next to black — the dark version stays stable and creates a subtle edge on dark base fabrics. The two mint variants can also be combined within the same collection to create depth and variation.

Manufacturers with dark-toned casual and streetwear ranges use Dark Dusty Mint rib as an alternative to classic rib colours. Oeko-Tex 100 certification covers requirements from European retail customers. Tubular construction eliminates a seaming step when cutting trims.

Machine wash 40°C, normal cycle. Low spin. Line drying preserves the rib structure and colour. Iron on the reverse.
