About this print

Rib old rose is tubular knit rib in 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 230 g/m² and approx. 35–45 cm wide in a tubular construction. The colour is a muted reddish-rose tone with good depth – consistent from roll to roll and stable after repeated washing.

Old rose is used for rib cuffs and bands on sweatshirts, hoodies and cardigans, for necklines on dresses and shirts in cotton jersey, for waistband binding on casual trousers with an elastic edge, and for highlighted rib edging in women’s and girls’ ranges. The colour coordinates with off-white, sand, grey, dusty blue and deeper rose tones.

Old rose is a season-neutral colour used in autumn/winter and spring/summer collections without feeling seasonal. This allows manufacturers to keep one colour in stock year-round and use it across collections. The colour is never too bright and never too grey – it sits in the middle ground that is easier to sell broadly.

Women’s apparel companies and private label brands with wide assortments use old rose rib as a standard component. Oeko-Tex 100 certification meets requirements from European retail customers. Tubular delivery provides flexibility for cuff widths from 3 to 8 cm without extra seaming steps.

Machine wash 40°C, normal programme. Low spin. Hang drying is recommended to preserve rib structure and colour. Iron on the reverse.
