Dark brown rib is often used as a contrast or as a tone-on-tone trim for earth colours and muted prints. The rib works for necklines, waistband ribbing and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, cardigans and bodysuits. Tubular knit rib has an elastic structure that provides a stable edge and good crosswise elasticity. This makes the rib suitable when the edge needs to stretch in use and still fall back into place. The tubular construction creates a double layer, which can increase durability in edges exposed to repeated stretching.
