Dark brown rib is often used as a contrast or as a tone-on-tone trim for earth tones and muted prints. The rib works for necklines, waistbands and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, cardigans and bodysuits. The colour also suits classic clothing where you want a dark finish without choosing black.

Tubular rib has an elastic structure that provides a stable edge and good crosswise stretch. This makes the rib suitable when the edge needs to stretch in use and still recover back into place. The tubular construction creates a double layer, which can increase durability in edges exposed to repeated stretching.

Dark core colours are often ordered by fabric shops and smaller producers who want fixed standards in their range. The shade is a practical choice when you want to be able to reorder and achieve a consistent look from roll to roll.

Wash at 30 degrees. Wash inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity.
