Dark brown ribbing is often used as a contrast or as a tone-on-tone edge for earth tones and muted prints. The ribbing fabric works for necklines, waistband ribbing and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, cardigans and bodysuits. The colour also suits classic garments when you want a dark finish without choosing black.

Tubular rib knit has an elastic structure that creates a stable edge and good crosswise stretch. This makes the rib jersey fabric suitable when the edge must stretch during wear and still fall back into place. The tubular construction provides a double layer, which can increase durability in edges exposed to repeated stretching.

Dark core colours are often ordered by fabric shops and smaller manufacturers that want fixed standards in their range. The shade is a practical choice when you want to reorder and achieve a consistent look from roll to roll.

Wash at 30 degrees. Wash inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity.
