Lime Rib is tubular rib knit in 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 230 g/m² and approx. 35–45 cm wide in a tubular construction. The bright lime shade delivers maximum visibility on rib edges and is consistent from roll to roll – the colour is colourfast and stays bright after repeated washing.

Lime rib is used for rib edges and cuffs on hoodies and sportswear, for highlighted waistbands and hems on joggers and shorts, for necklines on T-shirts and performance tops, and as edge fabric on ski jackets and wind jackets with visible details. The colour gives the strongest contrast against black and white base fabric.

Lime rib edges are used deliberately to create high visibility and energy in sporty collections. The colour is used as a signal – a sportswear company uses lime to mark an active line. A single lime rib edge on a black base fabric can define a collection’s identity. The colour stays in place and keeps its clarity with correct washing without washing out.

Sportswear and activewear manufacturers use Lime rib as a fixed component in ongoing sporty ranges. Oekotex 100 certification covers requirements from European retail customers and sports brands with stricter product requirements. Tubular delivery enables direct cutting to the desired widths.

Machine wash 40°C, normal cycle. Low spin. Line drying recommended. The colour is robust – iron on the reverse at low to medium temperature.
