Bright fuchsia is an intense pink shade that creates contrast in both neutral and colourful collections. Tubular knit rib is often used for rib trims, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, tops and dresses, where the edge must be elastic while remaining shape-stable. Several fabric shops also sell rib jersey fabric by the metre for close-fitting tops and simple dresses because the rib structure gives more body than a smooth jersey surface.

The rib quality provides good crosswise elasticity and helps edges keep their shape in wear. This gives good freedom of movement in the garment without finishes feeling loose after repeated washing.
