Dark grey melange rib is tubular circular-knit rib jersey fabric in 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 230 g/m² and 35–45 cm wide. The colour is a dark grey melange with a consistent shade from roll to roll – with no visible colour shifts at roll changes, even in large production runs.

Dark grey melange rib is used for rib trims and cuffs on hoodies and sweatshirts, for neck ribs and waistbands on jackets and T-shirts, for rib tops and rib dresses as a stand-alone construction fabric, and as edging fabric on sports trousers and shorts. The colour coordinates reliably with both dark and light jersey colours and with denim shades without the risk of colour conflicts in collections with a wide colour palette.

The tubular construction provides natural double thickness – rib trims are cut on ½ width without a seam. The joining step is eliminated in production, and speed increases noticeably in series production of trims in large volumes. The 5% elastane content provides stable elasticity without the ribbing fabric losing shape with repeated washing and wear.
