Champagne is a light, warm neutral, often used as an alternative to white when you want a softer look for edges and finishes. Tubular rib knit is typically used for necklines, ribbing and sleeve finishes on tops, jersey cardigans and sweatshirts. The colour also works well in baby and kids ranges when you want to keep the palette light and calm.

Rib knit delivers an elastic quality with a clear structure. The stable recovery helps the ribbing fabric sit neatly against the garment so edges do not wave. At the same time, 220 g/m² adds a bit of body so rib edges hold their shape and withstand repeated wear.

Fabric shops often choose champagne as a stock colour because it matches many prints and solid colour fabrics. Smaller manufacturers use it for standard edging on ranges where a light rib jersey fabric is needed and can be reordered without changing the overall look.

Wash at 30 degrees, inside out. Avoid tumble drying.
