Rib — Caramel is a tubular rib knit in 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 220 g/m² and approx. 70-75 cm wide (tubular).

The caramel shade gives a warm, calm look and is often used in core collections for childrenswear and womenswear, where rib edges should read cleanly against both neutral and darker colours. Tubular rib knit is typically used for necklines, waistband ribbing and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, bodysuits and tops. The quality also works as rib panels on leggings and lightweight trousers when you want a close, shape-stable edge.

The rib structure provides defined ribs and an elastic surface that follows movement without losing shape. This makes the ribbing fabric suitable when garments must hold up wash after wash and when edges are exposed to repeated stretching in use.

Fabric shops and smaller manufacturers often choose this type of rib jersey fabric as a standard item for matching edges across collections. The colour is easy to reorder and works well in ranges where a warm neutral is wanted and can be repeated across styles.

Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to maintain elasticity and measurements.
