Rib — Lilac is a tubular rib knit in 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 230 g/m² and 70–75 cm wide (tubular). The colour sits in a bright lilac range and is often used as a contrast or as an all-over colour in core styles.

This ribbing fabric is commonly used for rib trims, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, bodysuits and blouses, where the edge needs to stretch while still holding its shape. Lilac also works well as a colour pop on childrenswear and as a match for prints when you want a clear but controlled accent.

Tubular rib knit gives a dense, elastic structure. The tubular width makes it easy to cut with consistent elasticity, so edges behave reliably in wear and hold up wash after wash. This leads to fewer complaints about finishes when garments are used actively.

Fabric shops and smaller producers typically choose this rib jersey fabric as a permanent stock colour because it is easy to reorder and works across seasons. The colour is stable from roll to roll, so you can top up continuously without visible shifts in finished runs.

Wash at 30°C, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to maintain elasticity and measurements.
