Rib — lilac is tubular rib knit in 95% cotton and 5% elastane, 230 g/m² and 70–75 cm wide (tubular). The colour sits in the bright lilac range and is often used as a contrast or as an all-over colour in core styles.

This ribbing fabric is often used for rib edges, necklines and sleeve finishes on sweatshirts, bodysuits and tops, where the edge must stretch while still holding its shape. Lilac also works well as a colour pop on childrenswear and as a match to prints when you want a clear but controlled accent.

Tubular rib knit provides a dense, elastic structure. The tubular width makes it easy to cut with consistent stretch, so edges behave reliably in wear and hold from wash to wash. This results in fewer claims on finishes when garments are used actively.

Fabric shops and smaller producers typically choose this rib as a core stock colour because it is easy to reorder and works across seasons. The colour is stable from roll to roll, so you can top up continuously without visible shifts in finished runs.

Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve elasticity and measurements.
