Rib — Dark Red

Description

Rib — Dark Red is a tubular rib knit fabric in 95% cotton and 5% elastane with a weight of 230 g/m² and a width of 160 cm. The deep, saturated red colour is consistent from roll to roll and provides a stable base for trims in serial production.

Used for ribbing on sweatshirts, necklines on cotton knit fabric T-shirts, sleeve and hem finishes on hoodies, as well as waistbands on joggers. The weight matches most sweat and french terry qualities in the same price range.

The rib has high recovery after stretch, so necklines and cuffs keep their shape after repeated wear and washing — a concrete advantage when producing garments that must withstand industrial laundering.

Typically ordered by apparel companies, private label manufacturers, and designers producing sweat and jersey collections in small to medium runs. The colour is often matched with sweat or french terry in a similar red shade.

Care instructions:

• Machine wash 40°C
• No bleach
• Tumble dry low
• Iron at medium heat
