The print is developed exclusively by Jydsk Stoflager and is not available anywhere else. The watercolour look creates soft transitions in the design, giving you a print that feels light–also when used in larger pattern pieces such as fronts and skirts.

This quality is often used for dresses, tunics, T-shirts and leggings, where 4-way stretch provides good freedom of movement. The motif also suits kids’ tops and lightweight trousers when you want a print that is easy to combine with solid colours.

The cotton/lycra base provides stable stretch performance, so garments keep their shape wash after wash. The digital print jersey is even and is not affected by stretch, making it more predictable for cutting–also when working with pattern pieces across the width.

Fabric shops often choose watercolour prints for seasonal changes and capsule collections because the colours can be styled broadly. Smaller producers use the digital print for short runs without committing to large quantities.

Wash at 30 degrees with the fabric inside out. Avoid tumble drying, and recommend air drying to protect colours and elastane.
