The print is developed exclusively by Jydsk Stoflager and is not available anywhere else. The watercolour look creates soft transitions in the motif, giving you a print that feels light, even when used in larger pieces such as front panels and skirts.
This quality is often used for dresses, tunics, T-shirts and leggings, where 4-way stretch provides good freedom of movement. The motif also suits childrens tops and lightweight trousers when you want a print that is easy to combine with solid colours.
The cotton/lycra base provides stable stretch performance, so garments keep their shape wash after wash. The print is consistent and is not affected by stretch, which makes it more predictable when cutting, also when you work with pattern pieces across the grain.
Fabric shops often choose watercolour prints for seasonal changes and capsule collections because the colours can be styled broadly. Smaller producers use the digital print for short series without committing to large quantities.
Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying, and recommend air drying to protect colours and elastane.
