Mustard velour is upholstery velour in 100% polyester with a dense, soft pile. It weighs 360 g/m² and is 145 cm wide.

Mustard is a warm, golden yellow with a brown undertone. It is a popular choice for armchairs, footstools and cushions, and it sits well next to oak, walnut, dark green and blue. In velour the yellow takes on a soft sheen that changes with the light.

Like all velour, the fabric shows a slight shading effect when the pile is brushed in different directions. Lay all pattern pieces with the pile in the same direction when cutting, so a sofa or a headboard gets the same shade everywhere.

140,000 Martindale makes the velour suitable for both home furniture and contract seating used many hours a day. Pilling is tested at 5 on a scale of 1 to 5, and light fastness is 4–5.
