Petrol viscose jersey is often used for T-shirts, dresses, blouses and lightweight skirts when you want a beautiful drape and a surface with a soft touch. The colour works well both in core ranges and as a deep accent colour in seasonless collections, for example in womenswear and menswear where the look should be calm.

The viscose fibre provides a smooth surface and drape, making it easier to achieve clean lines in garments, especially in styles with gathers, wrap details or more volume. The lycra content adds elasticity and improved shape retention, so garments keep their fit from wash to wash.

This quality is typically ordered by fabric shops and smaller manufacturers that need consistent core colours for ongoing reorders. The shade is suitable when you want to build a colour card with blue-green tones that match many prints and neutral colours. As a stock item, it provides predictable delivery for planned production.

Wash at 30 degrees with the fabric inside out. Avoid tumble drying. Preferably let the fabric rest after cutting so the stretch stabilises.
