Dark grey melange creates a more graphic and toned-down look than light melange. This quality is often used for sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers and sets for both children and adults when a warm inner face and an outer surface with an even appearance are required.

The brushed reverse adds warmth and a soft hand feel. At the same time, 4-way stretch provides a fit with good freedom of movement, and the fabric performs neatly in both relaxed and more close-fitting cuts. The melange effect can also be an advantage in stock assortment items because it masks minor creasing and delivers a stable colour impression.

Fabric shops and smaller clothing manufacturers often choose dark grey melange as a base colour because it is easy to combine with prints, contrast details and solid colour ribbed trims. The colour remains stable from roll to roll, making reordering and colour control easier in day-to-day operations.

Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying, and hang to dry to keep the brushed surface looking neat.
