Light grey melange french terry is often used for sweatshirts, joggers, hoodies and kidswear when you want a soft surface and a bit of warmth without the fabric becoming too heavy. The brushed reverse gives a cosy feel, while the outer side still looks smooth and clean in appearance.

4-way stretch makes the quality easy to work into fits with movement. The fabric feels stable lengthwise and provides good freedom of movement in garments. The melange colour is also practical in core collections because it hides small creases and creates a calm, textured look.

This quality is typically ordered by fabric shops and smaller clothing manufacturers who want a standard item for repeated drops. The colour is consistent from roll to roll, so you can reorder without having to adjust colour cards and trims.

Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying, and hang to dry to preserve the surface.
