Green heavy satin is often used for dresses, skirts, blouses, and stage costumes where a vivid colour with gloss is desired. The colour works well as a full surface and also as a contrast detail in collars, facings, and linings when you want to give the garment a more striking appearance.

The surface is smooth and reflects light, so the shade and gloss change with drape. This gives a strong visual effect in folds and gathers. A frequent question from buyers and production is: Which needle suits polyester satin? A fine universal or microtex needle and even thread tension help avoid thread pulling in the woven structure.
