The caramel color provides a warm and calm tone, fitting collections featuring earth tones and classic shades. Woven satin is often used for dresses, blouses, skirts, and linings where a smooth surface and defined drape are desired. The moderate weight makes this quality suitable when you want a satin appearance without the fabric being too heavy.

The satin construction offers a gloss that accentuates color movement. At the same time, the fabric drapes nicely when used in simpler patterns. Polyester makes the quality practical to handle and ensures good color stability with normal use.

Fabric stores and smaller producers often include heavy satin as a staple in their range because it can be used in several product groups and delivered as stock fabric. For larger runs, it is recommended to order all at once to ensure consistent color from roll to roll.

Wash gently at low temperature, preferably in a laundry bag. Avoid tumble drying. Iron on low heat inside out, using a pressing cloth to protect the gloss.
