Army green offers a more subdued satin look, well-suited for collections featuring military green and neutral colors. Woven satin is often used for dresses, blouses, skirts, and linings where you want a smooth surface, elegant drape, and a slight sheen shift as the garment moves.

The satin construction allows the fabric to drape beautifully and can provide a more luxurious expression in simple designs. Polyester adds practical everyday durability and the color remains stable under normal use.

Fabric retailers and smaller manufacturers often order satin in basic colors to cover both seasonal items and non-seasonal styles. For repeat orders of the same series, it is advantageous to order together to ensure consistent color between rolls.

Wash gently at low temperatures and preferably in a laundry bag. Avoid tumble drying. Iron on reverse at low heat using a press cloth to protect the sheen.
