Lilac heavy satin is often used for dresses, skirts, blouses and details where you want distinct colour play and a smooth surface. It also works for lining and decorative panels when you want to create contrast against more matte fabrics by the metre. The glossy finish gives a more exclusive look in classic garments without the fabric becoming too heavy.

The polyester base provides a practical quality for production and resale. The fabric typically wrinkles less than many natural fibres, and the colour appears clear in the fabric by the metre. A relevant buying-side question is often: How do you avoid press marks on satin? Use low heat, press from the wrong side, and use a press cloth to protect the smooth surface.

The quality is typically ordered by fabric shops and smaller clothing manufacturers who want a stable satin fabric for recurring styles and colours. Consistent width makes it easier to calculate consumption for cutting in series. Stock item means fast dispatch for reorders.

Wash at 30°C. Avoid tumble drying. Iron on low heat, preferably on the wrong side.
