The print is developed exclusively by Jydsk Stoflager and is not available elsewhere. The animal motif on a beige base is used for bodysuits, hats, joggers and tops for children. The motif also suits adult styles with a natural, understated aesthetic – such as sweatshirts and light tops in Scandinavian design language. The beige base offers many combination options with other fabrics in the range.
French terry has a dense, stable face side and soft loops on the reverse. The face holds the motif crisp and gives a more structured look than single jersey with print. The 235 g/m² weight provides good coverage and a solid hand that makes cutting and sewing straightforward on standard industrial machines. The fabric protects the print against pilling compared to lighter jersey-based qualities and gives better shape retention in finishes and seams.
Fabric retailers and sewing workshops selling print jerseys for children choose french terry when customers demand more substance than a standard jersey base. Wholesalers with season-based children’s collections use this motif in rotation because the neutral beige base coordinates easily with other fabrics. A minimum of 10m provides flexibility for trial production and pilot orders without significant capital commitment.
