About this fabric

Yellow canvas fabric is a heavy fabric in 100% cotton, 225 g/m² and 140 cm wide. It is woven in a panama weave, which creates a lightly ribbed surface and a firm, robust fabric.

Canvas is heavy and holds its shape, yet it is still easy to sew on a standard sewing machine. The fabric becomes a little softer with each wash and every time it is used, so a bag or an apron quickly gets a lived-in look.

This yellow is a soft, warm yellow – more sunflower than lemon. It suits cushions, toys and summer colours.

This quality is used for bags and tote bags, aprons, cushion covers, tablecloths, curtains, storage, and relaxed trousers and jackets. It also works for workwear and shoes. For upholstery on seating surfaces, we recommend an upholstery fabric wholesale option with an abrasion test, as this cotton canvas fabric is not tested according to Martindale.
