About this fabric

Olive canvas fabric is a heavy fabric in 100% cotton, 225 g/m² and 140 cm wide. It is woven in a Panama weave, which gives a lightly ribbed surface and a firm, robust fabric.

Canvas is heavy and keeps its shape, but it is still easy to sew on a standard sewing machine. The fabric becomes slightly softer with every wash and each time it is used, so a bag or an apron quickly gets a lived-in look.

Olive is a warm, yellow-green tone. It suits jackets, bags and home textiles in earthy colours.

This quality is used for bags and tote bags, aprons, cushion covers, tablecloths, curtains, storage and relaxed trousers and jackets. It is also suitable for workwear and for shoes. For upholstery on seating surfaces, we recommend an upholstery fabric wholesale quality with an abrasion test, as canvas is not tested according to Martindale.

All colours are the same quality, so fabric shops and sewing workshops can mix colours in the same order and keep the same weight and width across the entire range. We ship from our warehouse in Ikast.

Wash at 30 degrees. Do not bleach, dry clean or tumble dry. Iron at low heat.
