About this fabric

Dark lavender canvas fabric is a heavy fabric in 100% cotton, 225 g/m² and 140 cm wide. It is woven in a Panama weave, which gives a lightly ribbed surface and a firm, robust fabric.

Canvas is heavy and holds its shape, but it is still easy to sew on a standard sewing machine. The fabric becomes a little softer with every wash and each time it is used, so a bag or an apron quickly takes on a lived-in look.

Dark lavender is a saturated, dark blue-purple. It works well for cushions, bags and children’s products.

This quality is used for bags and tote bags, aprons, cushion covers, tablecloths, curtains, storage and relaxed trousers and jackets. It is also suitable for workwear and for shoes. For upholstery on seating surfaces, we recommend an upholstery fabric with an abrasion test, as this canvas is not tested to Martindale.

All colours are the same quality, so fabric shops and sewing studios can mix colours in the same order and keep the same weight and width across the entire range. We ship from stock in Ikast.

Wash at 30 degrees. Do not bleach, dry clean or tumble dry. Iron on low heat.
