The sandwashed finish gives a premium linen-look without compromising — the fabric is still 100% cotton and retains cotton’s soft comfort. The mid grey tone delivers a classic, calm expression that is easy to build a colour palette around.

Grey sandwashed cotton is often used for shirts, dresses, lightweight trousers and summerwear when you want a more matte and textured look than standard cotton canvas. The quality is also relevant for cushion covers and other simple home details when you want woven cotton with a nice drape.

The sandwashing gives the fabric a more supple hand feel and makes the surface look less “new”. This is an advantage for garments where you want a relaxed look from the first wear.
