Pink chiffon is often used for tops with light transparency, layered dresses, as well as scarves and decorative details where the colour should be a clear part of the look. The bright pink shade makes it easy to create contrast in ranges, for example with black, grey, or sand colours.

Chiffon at 80 g/m² is a very lightweight fabric that drapes beautifully in movement and is well suited to gathers, ruffles, and loose shapes. The polyester fibre makes the quality practical to handle and provides consistent results in cutting and sewing when working in larger quantities.

Fabric shops often bring in strong colours as seasonal items and as a supplement to core colours. Smaller producers use pink chiffon for statement styles and as an overlay, where the same base shape can be varied through colour. It is also an advantage when you want to reorder and keep colour consistency from roll to roll.

Wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. Avoid tumble drying. Hang to dry and iron on low heat.
