The deep wine red color is consistent from roll to roll and pairs well with both neutral and warm tones. The fabric is used for coats, blazers, dresses, trousers, and accessories–as well as for smaller upholstery and home textiles. Clothing manufacturers, fabric shops, and hobby seamstresses order boiled wool for classic, timeless projects.

Boiled wool has a firm handle and structured surface that gives silhouettes good definition. The fibers retain heat without feeling heavy on the body, and the natural elasticity means the fabric is dimensionally stable after repeated washes without losing shape. Wool naturally breathes, making it ideal for both winter and transitional season clothing.

The fabric is delivered ready to cut–no prewash required. The wine red shade maintains its color over time with normal indoor and outdoor use, and the lightfastness is good for a natural fiber fabric. Consistent width from roll to roll makes it easy to plan material usage across larger collections.

Wash at 30°C inside out. Use wool detergent or gentle detergent. Avoid tumble drying–lay flat or hang to dry. Iron lightly with steam if needed.
