The deep petrol blue colour is consistent from bolt to bolt, offering a sophisticated, classic look. This fabric is ideal for coats, blazers, dresses, trousers, and accessories–as well as upholstery and home textiles. Both clothing manufacturers, fabric shops, and hobby seamstresses choose boiled wool for projects requiring a dark, elegant appearance.

Boiled wool provides a firm handle and a structured surface that gives garments clean lines. The fibers retain heat without feeling heavy, and the natural elasticity ensures shape stability after repeated washing without deformation. Wool breathes naturally, making it perfect for both winter and mid-season clothing.

The fabric is supplied ready to cut–no pre-washing necessary. The petrol shade maintains its depth over time with normal indoor and outdoor use, and the colourfastness is excellent for a natural fibre fabric. Uniform width from bolt to bolt simplifies material planning for larger collections.

Wash at 30°C inside out. Use wool detergent or gentle washing agents. Avoid tumble drying–lay flat or hang to dry. Press lightly with steam if needed.
