Camel melange provides a classic, mottled play of color that is often used in outerwear where depth without pattern is desired. Boiled wool bouclé works well for coats, jackets, ponchos and simple vests, and the quality also works for accessories such as scarves and warm collars when a more textured surface is desired.

The rolled wool construction provides a more unified and calm fabric that can hold its shape well in use. A relevant question from professionals is: Should edges be hemmed or lined? Boiled wool typically frays less than woven wool, but in production, lining or coating often gives a more stable result in seams and a neater inside, especially in coats.
