White cotton canvas is a stable fabric by the metre for basics where the colour needs to be clean and easy to combine. The 140 g/m² weight makes the quality suitable when you want a lighter canvas with a nice structure, without the fabric becoming too heavy.

Luxury cotton is often used for shirts, lightweight dresses, blouses and summerwear. The colour is also relevant for linings and details where you want a neutral base that can be dyed or used as a light contrast.

A woven canvas construction provides a firmer handle than single jersey knit fabrics. This makes the fabric ideal for styles where shape and a more “crisp” line in the garment is desired. White is also a colour where many buyers notice consistency in the yardage, because small variations become visible in displays.

Wash at 30–40 degrees. Pre-washing is recommended before cutting if you want to control any shrinkage. Avoid tumble drying.
