Champagne is a light, calm shade often used in classic clothing and as a neutral base in collections. The colour works well for shirts, lightweight dresses and trousers when you want a bright look without going fully white. The quality is also used for home textiles such as cushion covers and lightweight curtains, where an even colour creates a clean, Scandinavian look.

Woven cotton canvas fabric has a more visible structure than smooth shirting qualities. This gives more body to the fabric and makes it suitable when you want garments to keep their shape and have a more stable drape. At 140 g/m², it is lightweight and suitable for many product groups without being too heavy.

Fabric shops choose champagne as a safe core colour because it can be sold alongside both bright and dark colours. A typical question is: Does cotton canvas fabric become stiff after washing? Cotton can feel firmer after drying, but a quick press or steaming brings back a softer touch on the surface.

Wash at 30–40 degrees. Pre-washing is recommended before cutting. Avoid tumble drying to minimise shrinkage and preserve the colour’s calm look.
