The light blue tone works as a calm base colour in ranges where you want a light, Nordic look. The quality is often used for sweatshirts, joggers, hoodies and soft onesies where a brushed reverse adds extra comfort to the garment. As baby blue fabric, the colour also fits into childrenswear ranges and coordinated sets.
Brushed french terry provides more warmth than unbrushed because the brushed back feels warmer and less cool against the body. At the same time, 4-way stretch delivers a flexible fit, and the fabric is suitable when you want freedom of movement in everyday clothing.
A question that often comes up is whether french terry shrinks in washing. As with most cotton-based fabrics by the metre, you should expect minor shrinkage and plan for it in cutting and consumption.
The colour is often ordered by fabric shops and smaller manufacturers who want to be able to reorder a stable core. Consistent deliveries make colour matching across orders easier, especially when you work with fixed shade cards.
Wash at 30 degrees and wash with the reverse side out. Avoid tumble drying, and hang to dry.
For finishes and cuffs, you can combine with Rib in a matching blue or in contrast.
Order from 10m – delivery 1-3 business days in Scandinavia
