Printed cotton jersey with excavators is a digital print in single jersey knit 95% cotton and 5% lycra, 220 g/m² and 160 cm wide.

The print is developed exclusively by Jydsk Stoflager and is not available anywhere else. The machine motif makes printed cotton jersey suitable for children’s wear ranges where the theme needs to be clear and easy to recognise. The quality is often used for tops, leggings, beanies and lightweight trousers in sizes 62 to 164.

Printed cotton jersey at 220 g/m² provides a little more body than lighter qualities. This helps when you want a nice drape without the garment becoming too warm. Lycra contributes good crosswise elasticity and 4-way stretch, so the fit follows movement and seams work less during wear. The question “printed fabric for kids” often comes up in purchasing. Here it is relevant that the elastic jersey base makes it easy to achieve the right measurements in grading because the fabric recovers neatly after stretch.

Fabric shops and smaller producers choose digital print fabric when the range needs refreshing with motifs that stand out but can still be matched with solid colours. We deliver with stable colour reproduction from roll to roll, making reordering and ongoing production more predictable.

Wash at 30 degrees and preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying, and let garments dry hanging.
