The pointoille structure gives a light, decorative surface where the small flowers stand out clearly in the expression. This quality is often used for lightweight blouses, T-shirts, bodysuits, and children’s sets when you want a finer mesh look than classic single jersey.

The low weight of 180 g/m² makes the fabric suitable for styles that should be lighter and more breathable without feeling thin. Pointoille has a more open knit than many jersey qualities, resulting in a lighter and livelier expression, and the garment has a beautiful drape.

Fabric shops often choose pointoille as a supplement to basic jersey as the pattern provides shelf variety without changing the fabric feel too much. Smaller producers use it for small series where the detail in the structure can elevate a simple design. Color and print expression should be assessed from bolt to bolt on reorder when collections need to match.

Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve structure and dimensions.
