Anthracite is a deep, dark grey shade close to anthracite. The colour is often used in more minimalist looks when you want a dark base that still feels natural. The stonewashed finish gives a soft touch and a relaxed surface with a clear linen texture.
Woven linen at 250 g/m² is often used for curtains, cushion covers, tablecloths and lighter upholstery work where you want more weight than very lightweight linen. The quality can also be used for shirts, loose trousers, dresses and overshirts when you want a fabric that drapes nicely while still holding its shape.
The slightly heavier weight provides more stable handling in garment production and makes the fabric suitable for pieces that need a calmer drape. Stonewashed treatment makes the quality more uniform in appearance from the start, which is an advantage when you work with series.
Buyers often choose anthracite tones as core colours in a linen programme because they combine broadly and sell year-round. The fabric works both as a standalone colour and as a contrast to natural and light shades.
Wash at 40 degrees. Avoid tumble drying. Lightly iron as needed.
Add more shades from Washed linen.
