The white colour gives a clean, Scandinavian expression, functioning as a base in both home and fashion. The linen fiber is naturally breathable and provides a light, dry feel with a calm drape that suits styles and interiors with a relaxed look.

Lightweight linen is often used for shirts, dresses, loose trousers, and skirts where a woven quality with structure is desired without becoming too heavy. In home collections, it is also used for light curtains, tablecloths, and cushion covers, where the natural expression is in focus.

The low to medium weight makes the fabric suitable for collections where you want to keep material consumption down while maintaining linen’s character. Linen can wrinkle during use, which is often part of the expression.

Fabric stores and smaller producers choose white linen as a consistent colour that can be included in base programs all year round. Consistent width from roll to roll makes it easier to calculate consumption for curtain lengths and series.

Wash at 30-40 degrees and avoid tumble drying. Iron if needed, preferably while the material is still slightly damp.
